COTSWOLD FARM PARK - OLYMPIGS 

 5th - 7th MAY

From hobby horse races to hay bale hurdles, from wheelbarrow racing to welly wanging, this family fun sports day is guaranteed to bring out your competitive side and find your inner Mo Farrah. Join in the fun from 1.30pm on the event field and see if you can be an OlymPigs Champion!

CHELTENHAM JAZZ FESTIVAL

2nd - 7th MAY

Cheltenham has become one of the country’s best-loved jazz festivals. Our trade-mark mix of international jazz icons, up-and-coming new artists and unique festival performances has seen us host some of the world’s greatest musicians over the Bank Holiday weekend. Headline names include Van Morrison, Imelda May, Omar, Rick Astley and many more.

BLUEBELL WALK AT WHATCOTE

6th MAY

If you enjoy a walk through lovely countryside the parishioners of Whatcote, near Shipston-on-Stour, are holding their Bluebell Walk again on Sunday, May 6th.  The walk is between 1½ and 2 miles long through farmland to Hell Brake and Oak Tree Coppice, where bluebells carpet the ground under the trees.

BADMINTON HORSE TRIALS

2nd – 6th MAY

First held in 1949 and located at the Duke of Beaufort, Badminton is recognised as ‘the world’s premier three-day event’. From May 2 – 6, the world’s greatest equestrians contest the ultimate competition of its type in the world.
