Our 2018 Music Festival Guide

Wychwood Festival 1st-3rd June

Held extremely local to us this very modest festival manages to tick all of the boxes without being too ‘in your face’. It is only a twenty-minute drive from us to Cheltenham Racecourse. There is good music, family fun and entertainment and plenty of yummy food. Headline acts feature The Gipsy Kids, The GO! Team, Sea Girls and many more.

Cornbury Music Festival 13th-15th July

Cornbury is set in the rolling countryside of Oxfordshire. The setting is stunning and really gets you in the festival spirit. Headline acts include The Hairy Bikers, UB40, Amy Macdonald and many more. There is a wonderful eclectic mix of music to be enjoyed and a truly magical children’s area including workshops, entertainers and good old fashioned fairground rides.

Guiting Festival 20th-29th July

For nearly half a century the Guiting Music Festival has been a delightful niche festival to enliven the Cotswolds’ summer calendar, bringing an exciting variety of highly talented performances of Classical, Jazz and Blues music by artists from around the world. The festival is held in the beautiful and unspoilt Cotswold setting of Guiting Power, near Stow-on-the-Wold. Headline acts include Albion String Quartet, Marici Saxes, Alexander Bone and many more.

The Big Feastival 24th-26th August

Again we are lucky enough to have this amazingly popular too cool for school festival a short distance from us. It is extremely attractive for all of the family with under 12’s getting in for free. Top artists performing such as Craig David, James Arthur, Clean Bandit to name a few. Plenty of fun things to do with a Vintage Fun Fair, Tree Climbing and Adam Henson is even taking along his farm park for the few days so that you can meet the team and their four-legged work colleagues. They have plenty of truly delicious food stands to go and re-fuel at.
