YOU’RE ONLY AS GOOD AS YOUR REVIEWS

We’re always delighted when our customers leave feedback. Here are some of the reviews that have been left by families and couples that have stayed with us over the past couple of years…

“Fantastic accommodation in beautiful Cotswold countryside. 14 of us stayed, age range 4 to 77 and all of us loved it. The kids loved the games room and visiting the alpacas, donkeys & goats. Plus there’s a lovely pub only half-hour walk away.” Sally Gardiner

“Just returned from a weekend in the safari tents. The little touches added makes it homely and everything has been thought of, the cleanliness of the tents is a high standard. The grass area in front of the tents is great and was well used despite the rain!!!” The Bennett family

“Our 3-year-old settled in straightaway and was so relaxed and content. It was idyllic and beautiful. The pod was amazing and was just right for what we needed. The grounds and village were breath-taking and welcoming.” Ben and Jane Honey

“We had a wonderful time. The pods were perfect and it was wonderful to have lots of open space for the kids to play in. We all made very good use of the games room and have come home with Table Football superstars.” Krishna Khan

“Had an amazing two nights here with my hubby and two boys in the Safari Tents. Beautiful grounds and everything we needed. The shower blocks were clean and the boys loved the games room and play area.” Tracey, Jerome and boys

“Lovely and spacious holiday barns. All rooms have their own bathroom or en-suite and there is plenty of storage space. Great location with some lovely walks in the area.” Clive and Emma Somers

“We had 2 amazing nights here in a pod. The pod was warm and cozy. Our children loved the games room and we all enjoyed a campfire each evening. Wish we had booked a longer stay, we will book again soon!” Ben, Chris and kids

“Lovely grounds. The pods were amazing. Really comfortable, even with the four us (me, my wife and 2 kids). The games room was well equipped and the staff were really nice. Bourton on the Water is a quaint town to visit.” Mahesh

“We had a lovely weekend at Notgrove, staying in Wainway, two adjoining cottages. We all enjoyed ourselves celebrating a family 80th birthday with age ranges from 9 to 80 and a dog. The accommodation was great – well equipped and comfortable.” Emily Turner

I just wanted to say thank you for a fantastic stay in the Cotswolds at Notgrove, on behalf of our group. Thank you for your help in organising the trip as it really contributed to the weekend being such a success! Kate who did our catering on Saturday evening was excellent and we were delighted with the meal and her customer service. We all had such a wonderful time and loved the property. It’s beautifully done, well equipped and you really have thought of everything thoughtfully. We were fortunate with the weather and enjoyed the outdoor space and exploring the local area. We had children within the party crying as they didn’t want to leave yesterday morning!
Thank you once again and we look forward to returning to Notgrove very soon.”

“Money well spent, comfortable and a worth while escape from everything whether old or young. If you bring a car? 9 minutes to Bourton on the Water, 12 mins to Stow on the World. Its hilly grounds with lots of farm life that is lovely to look at not to mention amazing food at the Nuttery. Staff are friendly and helpful, an all round amazing, fantastic trip away.”

William – Cobnut Barn

“I just wanted to say a massive thank you for allowing us to have the most amazing weekend. It has to be one of the best hen do’s we have all been on and it wouldn’t have been possible without your amazing facilities. Your safari tents are beautifully clean, spacious and practical. It was lovely having the log burner inside and an actual hob to cook on. We all couldn’t believe how amazing the showers were. They were so clean, hot and powerful. The grounds are simply stunning, and the staff so helpful and friendly and obviously the dog Mable topped the weekend off.
Thank you again, we would definitely recommend your facilities and grounds.”

Hollie and the hen do group – Safari Tents

“Lovely pod, really comfortable with all the best mod-cons. Really spacious for two people – a good sized, comfortable, double bed; a large L shaped sofa that turned into a sofa bed; all essential kitchen appliances kettle, toaster, hot plate, microwave and mini-fridge; a good number of lights to keep it bright in whatever area of the pod you were in and a decent shower/toilet cubicle. I was also really impressed with how ‘solid’ it all felt – everything done to a high standard and the little things like water and electricity as efficient as an actual house! Notgrove Estate as a whole was picturesque and the entire countryside around the place was beautiful to walk through. All in all, an amazing place and I’d definitely like to visit again!”

Amy – Glamping Pods

“The barn was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and pretty well equipped. What was most impressive was how helpful everyone was during our stay. We requested an increase in temperature for our elderly people and this was done immediately. We had trouble with the oven on our first night and someone came to inspect it the following morning with the result that we had a brand new oven installed later that day. That is service!!!! Not to mention the sockets blowing on the second night and Harry came round within minutes.
No matter who you spoke to on site every member of staff was cheerful and interested in making our stay enjoyable. One young man saw me first thing in the morning and asked how I’d slept. Nothing was too much trouble.
As for staying again – we’d love to bring our own family with sons, partners and grandchildren. It’s a good meeting point being halfway between Yorkshire and South Devon and a beautiful part of the country.
We had a brilliant time, mainly ensuring the older members made the most of their time together. I do have one item of feedback that would’ve enhanced our stay and that would have been an additional fridge. It was a difficult balance to keep the food and wine/beer chilled.”

Gill and Eric Green – Hazelnut Barn

“Just a brief note to thank you for a lovely break in Wainway Barn this weekend. The accommodation is beautiful and very clean. I particularly loved the picture on the landing of Hazelnut, showing an avenue of trees.
We thoroughly enjoyed our walks, visiting the animals, the games room and the inevitable football for the grandsons and their fathers. Thank you for sharing the peace ( yes, even with 6 young children!) and beauty of your home with us.”
