“Fantastic stay in the Cotswolds”.
I just wanted to say thank you for a fantastic stay in the Cotswolds at Notgrove, on behalf of our group. Thank you for your help in organising the trip as it really contributed to the weekend being such a success! Kate who did our catering on Saturday evening was excellent and we were delighted with the meal and her customer service. We all had such a wonderful time and loved the property. It’s beautifully done, well equipped and you really have thought of everything thoughtfully. We were fortunate with the weather and enjoyed the outdoor space and exploring the local area. We had children within the party crying as they didn’t want to leave yesterday morning!
Thank you once again and we look forward to returning to Notgrove very soon.”

Notgrove Holiday Cottages in the Cotswolds
Here in an area bounded by Bath, Oxford and Stratford-upon-Avon you’ll find some of the finest landscape in England. Cotswold towns and villages such as Burford, Bibury and Bourton-on-the-Water are world famous and remain largely unchanged since their creation in medieval England centuries ago. This was when the wealth of the wool trade left its mark in the high quality stone buildings for which the area is renowned.
Notgrove itself lies in the heart of the Cotswolds, only 4 miles from Northleach, famed for its magnificent church of St Peter and St Paul which is claimed to be the “Cathedral of the Cotswolds”. Nearby, the River Windrush flows through the centre of Bourton-on-the-Water, creating a very picturesque village scene.
At nearly 800ft, Stow-on-the-Wold is the highest of the Cotswold towns and is famous as a centre for antiques. The Roman Fosse Way from Cirencester to Leicester passes through it and it probably dates from a prehistoric fortified settlement on top of the hill.
Should you decide to stay for a few days in one of our holiday cottages you will find plenty of places to visit and sites to enjoy, in these market towns or quiet villages and hamlets. If you would like to book a cottage please click here

It’s all about great service…
“Just to say thanks for a fabulous week at Avery Cottage! A beautiful base for exploring a wonderful area, no-one wanted it to end today.
And thank you again for your time in taking us to feed the alpacas on Monday, the kids were thrilled and I think our youngest won’t realise our holiday is over until he can’t see the alpacas out of the window when he has breakfast tomorrow!
Hope the cottages continue to do as well for Notgrove as they deserve to.”
Ann Barnes – Avery Cottage
“We had an absolutely wonderful time. The cottage was fantastic – wonderfully clean and the children loved the private and safe garden. We will certainly look to book with you again next time we are in the Cotswolds.”
Mrs Jethwa – 2 Church Cottage
“We had a really great time and thoroughly enjoyed the cottage. The area was really lovely and the cottage extremely good, comfortable and well equipped. Very clean. A lot of thought had gone in to what might be needed.”
