The Simple Things In Life...

Summer IS on its way and we have plenty of things to do here in Notgrove or within close proximity!

Let's go fly a kite... Have you ever flown a kite? It really is quite a rewarding and therapeutic thing to do. There also is no better place to do it than on top of Cleeve Hill. You can have great fun and an enjoyable walk all whilst enjoying the superb views overlooking for miles!

Feed the ducks... Bourton on the Water is a little maze of winding lanes with tea rooms delicately scattered through the village. Then to top it off you have the wonderful river Windrush running through the centre of the village. The Ducks are always so pleased to see you and there are plenty of shops selling duck food for you to share with your new quacking best friends!

Head off on an adventure... Pack up your rucksack with lots of picnic goodies and head off an adventure. Don't plan, just walk. We have lots of delightful routes for you to follow taking you across the glorious countryside. Find a lovely spot to enjoy your lunch.

Have a game of tennis... If you are an avid tennis fan or just fancy having a knock about you can hire our tennis court in the village. It is set in the village near the manor. So you can enjoy a nice stroll there and take in the surroundings.

Let off some steam... They say the best things in life are free and there really is nothing better than quality time with your family and friends. So why not make the most of what we have on site and enjoy a game of rounders or football on our playing fields. Or a lovely walk round to meet our animals - The goats, donkeys, chickens, alpacas and pig love nothing more than a friendly audience!
