Welcome to the Notgrove Estate Blog – This is where we talk about places to visit, news, events and things going on in the Cotswolds as well as on the Farm. Sometimes we talk about one of our favourite subjects…. cake!

We all work hard here in the Cotswolds at Notgrove Holidays, when we get fantastic reviews and recommendations it is a great little boost to our team.

We always welcome constructive criticism from guests and visitors to Notgrove and often follow it up to help improve everyone’s stay with us. We are not a huge team and all have such important roles in keeping the holiday cottages and soon to be pods up and running smoothly. Whether it’s taking the bookings, housekeeping or the general maintenance and day to day running of the estate every little job makes Notgrove what it is.

We love to read our guests hand written reviews in our visitors books from each cottage and take every comment to heart. It’s so nice to see that we have been able to make someones holiday a special one.

So you can imagine how happy it makes us when we see that we are now clocking up the reviews and recommendations in rather a lot of newspaper and magazine articles. We must be doing something right!!

Recently, Woman & Home Started off their list for ‘The Best Camping Spots in The Cotswolds’ with us. It is a fantastic read with them saying ‘these pods offer the last word in luxury’. They have recognized how stunning this old Cotswold estate is and its surrounding countryside. We are extremely pleased!

The Telegraph has composed ’10 reasons to visit the Cotswolds in 2016′. Putting us in the number one spot writing ‘A haven of rolling fields and big skies, Notgrove Estate near Northleach offers four brilliantly stylish holiday cottages fashioned from former barns. Resident donkeys, goats and alpacas seem principally to be there for children to hug.’

To top this off they then wrote a tremendous review on their stay with us. Notgrove Holiday cottages, Cotswolds: Cottage review.  It is a great read and a well deserved confidence booster for the team. A cheeky little quote from the article ‘They’ve thought of pretty much everything here, from spa treatments you can pre-arrange to providing firelighters and kindling for the woodburners. The kitchens are wonderfully well stocked, complete with tea and coffee. If you don’t want to cook there are catering options, from gourmet frozen meals to the services of a local chef. Each property has a dedicated outdoor space with barbecue, and they share a games room with table tennis and more.’ Thank you very  much to The Telegraph!

We have been featured in the Independent as well in their Travel Agenda under the ‘Farm Stay’ title. Only a little write up but all very much appreciated that we are getting noticed by the bigger boys out there.

We hope to be adding more and more to this post as we promise to keep delivering our end and create amazing holidays for all of our guests no matter how long or short a stay you have with us!
