We Are Live!!

So finally after years of planning and many sleepless nights Notgrove Holidays are up and running!! The Cottages went live mid-march with the fantastic Manor Cottages taking bookings for us and we are thrilled with the response so far.
We have huge plans for the Holiday Cottage business and are so pleased we are off the ground. We currently have two cottages available, Avery’s which sleeps six and 2 Church Cottage which sleeps 4, and both cottages have been enjoyed by our first flurry of guests. The excitement when we hear the ‘ping’ of another booking email is on a par with Christmas!!
In September 3 Church Cottages will be ready and then in October the Village Farm Cottages will be completed – we don’t so things by halves!!
Village Farm is an exciting new development based by the top farm yard, comprising of 3 cottages, newly built and with an open plan modern feel – quite the opposite of our traditional Cotswold Stone cottages. These new cottages sleep between 4 and 8 and also have interlocking corridors meaning they are ideal for groups. We will plan activities for girly groups, walking and cycling holidays as well as welcome families wanting a Cotswold break.
Opposite we are converting another barn into a games/function room, which we can use for large and small dinner parties, with the use of our personal chef. We will also have a small shop selling the essentials and ultimately hope to open a farm shop – I said big plans…… It’s been a long wet winter for the workmen but now these cottages are really starting to take shape and we can’t wait to get them going.
We love making the most of the great outdoors and have created the perfect spot for walkers/cyclists and general countryside lovers. With pets ranging from your standard dog to your not so standard Alpaca, the odd Peacock and several fat pigs we aim to offer a true countryside stay. We have some special ‘holiday cottage chickens’ allowing you to enjoy fresh eggs in the morning which you can collect yourself. We have also been busily hiking round the farm mapping out some of our top walks for our guests to enjoy. And being a keen cyclist Harry has enjoyed mapping out his cycle routes – all of varying lengths but all involving a local coffee shop stop.
When creating the holiday concept we tried to think what we would want from a holiday cottage/holiday – a massage and facial in your own cottage – bikes waiting on arrival – the newspaper delivered on a Sunday morning and the mum in me definitely wanted a break from the kitchen. We have been busily beavering for the past few months sourcing the best chefs, beauty therapists, cycle hire and activity companies the Cotswolds have to offer in order to offer you our Bespoke Extras! It’s been great meeting people with a similar vision, learning what other people are offering and I have particularly enjoyed taste testing all the top chefs culinary offerings 🙂 We can offer fully catered holidays, beauty treatments, bike hire, newspapers, babysitters and more – pretty much whatever you’re after we will arrange it!
So we have the walks, we have the cycling, we have the scenery, we have the cute and the furry, we have the food and we have the pampering – we look forward to welcoming you!!
